Dec 16th, 2009 by admin

  • Connect Four is a vertical game of tic-tac-toe, but with a twist – you have to get four in a row!
  • The first player to get four checkers lined up in a row in any direction–horizontal, vertical, or diagonal–wins the game
  • Game includes: grid, two end supports, 21 black checkers and 21 red checkers
  • This game is centuries old, Captain James Cook used to play it with his fellow officers on his long voyages, and so it has also been called “Captain’s Mistress”
  • For 2 Players

Product Description
The rules are simple: try to build a row of four checkers while keeping your opponent from doing the same. Sounds easy, but it’s not! Game includes: grid, two end supports, 21 black checkers and 21 red checkers.Editorial Review

This game is fun for three-year-olds, who just like to practice putting the checkers in the slots. I suppose it teaches a certain manual dexterity.

There comes a point in the life of a Tic-Tac-Toe player when he or she figures out that it’s impossible to lose. After that, the game is no longer any fun. For me, the same is true of this game.

We must have one of the sturdier versions of the game. My daughter played this game as a child, and now her son is playing with the same one. No parts have broken, and the slide stays where it belongs.

10 yrs ago, my sister and I were all over this beauty!

Unless of course … it was an “UNO NIGHT”, oh what great nights we had. Any-hoo, my sister came into town 1 – 2 weeks ago,

(Lana = 25, myself = 20) and the GameS began!!

The Gem to this little duel is “COUNTS.”

Counts, being the ability 2 MENTALLY calculate the probability ratio. With the right “eye,” Yours truley took his sister out in III CHIPS!!!

As far as color rights are concerned (blk vs. red) … there is ALWAYS ASH, not can be said about the all mighty FLAME. Think about it.

Well, then it happened. Our parents finally claimed next game.

There is NOTHING more PURE than a VIRGIN GAME of C4

(especially by players in their 50z.)

Game on! Well, after numerous shamefull DROPS, by both parties,

    MOM eventually took the GOLD..BRAVA!!!!

    A tipped hat goes 2 ALL C4 F4N4T!CS….Gob bless!

Remember … life is NO Dress Rehearshall, so have FuN.

    Ivory:cranE, droppin’ da ASH!

This is a very fun game. I had it for my children, and I am sure within a year or so, someone (maybe me) will buy it for my granddaughter. She is only 2 adn 1/2 years old but can already read some – mostly by menorization. She read the book to me instead of grandma reading it to her. Anyhow, she has lucky ducks and I also got her the memory pooh cards. Thank you. I hope it is as durable as the one I had for my kids, and they even had the travel size connect four.

It’s pretty fun but, you can get bored. It’s sliding in pieces and trying to get four it a row. It’s a great time passer but when it comes to fun, then I’m not so sure. Keep away from this toy. I have it. Now it’s sitting in a dusty corner in my closet.
